Book review – Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies

Hi! My name is Adhyan, and today I am going to write book review of “The Lemonade War” written by Jacqueline Davies which I got this book from our city Library. This book is about two siblings named Jessie and Evan who went on a war over selling lemonade. The war is about who will earn 100 dollars on the last day of Summer Vacation. They both came up with ways to earn money, like how Evan made a cart named “Lemonade on Wheels” or how Jessie hired thirteen kids hired to earn more money faster. In the intro it shows Evan is mad because Jessie is going in the same class with Evan. Though she is one year younger than Evan and two grades below she skipped a grade and going to 4^th grade with Evan. Evan knew that his sister is smarter than him and he don’t want to be dumber in front of his class. Evan started hating her, but didn’t tell her the reason. The anger caused the lemonade war to start. I do not want to give spoiler and finish the excitement for you, but Jessie won the lemonade war and how Evan’s “Lemonade on Wheels” idea was ruined by Jessie.

This book is full of idea how to start a lemonade stand. Also how to do math, multiplication and division. You will also learn about many ideas to make your business successful. Every chapter is starting with a hard word and its meaning like “sabotage” or “negotiation” or “Malicious mischief” and so on. I learned so many things including why a business go down or Why I cannot sell lemonade in a shopping area.

I liked the book because it gave me an excited feeling on who is going to win the war so I will give this book a 10 out of 10. This book is also great because this book can encourage other people like me to read long chapter books, and it can excite the reader that reader wants to read it over and over! This book you can’t stop reading. Dad tried to stop me and failed.

So grab some lemonade and popcorn, pick a comfy spot, and read “The Lemonade War”. So hurry up !!!

Just Harriet - Book Review

I got this book from the school. There was a reading program in my school. Everyone got one copy of book to read, just like me. Teacher handed over this to me and we need to read it in home. A short explanation of SCHOOL BREAKS

Breaks are short or long holidays from school where you can have fun.So in this blog I’m going to explain in my opinion about 5 types of school breaks, Day off’s Day off’s are 1 day breaks that sometimes comes after the weekend . 1 day weekends are fun but you cant sleep late on the night of the 1day weekend and for the fact that the next day is a school day so basically you have 24 hours for free time. Early release’s Early release’s only come on Wednesday and you get half of the time for free time.Your basically in school for 12 hours and have free time for 12 hours so it’s 50/50 for both.And it is fun as well. SUMMER BREAK Summer vacation is a 3 month holiday and it starts after the last day of school.You can do anything like going to the beach, going to an amusement park, going to the pool you can have fun and sleep late.You can have all the fun you want in a summer vacation. My accident with Adrit - MY FRIEND

My accident with Adrit started on the bus in afternoon at school today.I went on the bus. I thought every thing was going to be fine.Adrit sat a space next to another student.I sat in the window spot in the school bus seat.And just before the bus started going I grabbed my water bottle, but I didn’t realize that where I was swinging my bottle I was in Adrit’s surroundings.Then I hit Adrit in the lips.
